New Seedlings!

We are so thrilled to have cleared two new plots for our fall planting.  We pulled out some of the remaining squash and melons, as well as some sunflowers to make room for greens like mustard and kale.

As our babies grow, we are thinking of making new signs to help remind visitors not to step on the plants as they come up out of the ground.  Here is an example of a great sign from Arcadia, a wonderful farm in Virginia.

Learn more about our recent visit to Arcadia on sister-blog Adventures in Container Gardening.

Start thinking about more ideas for fall planting, because we are going to be very busy this Monday during work hours from 1-3 pm.  With all the rain we got last week, there are plenty of weeds that need to be taken out and two more plots that need to be prepared for fall.

Hope to see you there!
