Ready for Thursday Volunteer Hours?

We are ripe with hands-on educational opportunities but could use a few more hands on deck to aid with preparations for all the upcoming workshops and festivals. If you are free on Thursday from 5:00-7:00pm, come on over and help us move gravel, prepare soil mixtures, identify and yank weeds, and plan, plan, plan! Rumor has it, our IAA collaborator and raised bed planner extraordinaire Ellen Polishuk is offering extra credit to Sustainable Agriculture students who pitch in.

And just for fun, does anyone recognize the squirrel pictured above? He currently lives on campus in the Animal Science corner and has two physical characteristics that set him apart. One is visible in this pic. The other makes him identifiable from a little further away. Be the first to name it (the characteristic, not the squirrel) and we'll let you enter the Harvest Festival raffle twice.
