Work hours are canceled for tomorrow to allow everyone some extra time to focus on their studies, finals, and other remaining academic activities this semester.
Good luck finishing up the semester. Enjoy your holiday and break. We can't wait to see everyone back in the garden in 2012.
Stay tuned for more information about scheduling and planning for 2012. As always, please email publichealthgarden@gmail.com if you have ideas, questions, or concerns.
Holiday love from the Eco-Goats! Can't you tell they are wishing you good luck on exams? :)

Work Hours Today: Bundle Up
We are getting ready for winter break at the Public Health Garden. Stop by today for work hours starting at 4 pm to help us cut back dead tomato plants and move some additional soil into the raised beds.
I couldn't think of a better way to take my mind off the stress of final projects and finals. Please come procrastinate with us and help the garden get ready for winter.
Bundle up! It's cold out there.

Soil Situation Update
Thanks to our dedicated soil shovelers, we were able to rectify the soil situation in our middle bed, lay that landscape fabric, and get the bulk of the soil and compost back in again. Special thanks to Phillip and Russell for the love and leadership they continue to bring to the garden.

Volunteer Hours Today
We've got a lot of soil to move today and could use all hands on deck tonight from 5pm-7pm, or as early as 4 pm if you happen to be free. Email publichealthgarden@gmail.com if you have time and want to get started earlier. We can really use all the help we can get! As always, we have less labor-intensive tasks on our to-do list too.
